- Federal law requires us to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account, in order to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities. To process the application, we must have your name, street address, date of birth, and other identifying information, and we may ask for identifying documents from you as well.
- To process the application for a new account, it must be:

- If you are approved for credit, you will receive a Card Agreement ("Agreement") with your card. Read it carefully for important information regarding your account. The Agreement will be binding on you unless you cancel your account within 30 days after receiving your card and you have not used or authorized use of your account. We may change the Agreement at any time in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the Agreement.
Just follow these simple steps to start saving money on your high-interest cards.
- After receiving your card, you may call our customer service number to transfer your high rate balances.
- You may transfer any amount, but the total amount, including any balance transfer fee, must be less than your available credit line. You should not transfer the amount of any disputed purchase or other charge. If you do you may lose your dispute rights. You may not transfer balances from other accounts issued by Citibank (South Dakota), N.A. or its affiliates. Continue to pay the other credit card issuer until we nofity you in writing that we have approved the balance transfer. When we do, we pay the amount of the balance transfer directly to that issuer.
- Be ready to pay any balance transfer fee. We bill the entire amount of the balance transfer fee as part of your required minimum payment when the balance transfer posts to your account. We also begin to assess finance charges from the date they post to your account.
- Keep your account in good standing. If you do not, we may not approve future balance transfers.
